Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

If you use the Social Contract app or website, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data in line with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.

2. How to request data deletion

You can request deletion in either of the following ways:

Option 1: Through the app

  1. Open the Social Contract app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request.

Option 2: Via email

Email support@socialcontractapp.com from the email address associated with your account. Please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address linked to your Social Contract account
  • Any additional information that helps us verify your identity (for example, your registered phone number)

3. What happens after your request

Once we verify your request, we will delete or anonymise your account and personal data from active systems, subject to limited exceptions. We may retain certain information where the law requires it, or where necessary for fraud prevention, security, or the safety of our community.

4. Data retention

We may retain limited information when needed to:

  • Meet legal or regulatory obligations
  • Resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the integrity and safety of the platform

5. Processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Complex cases may take longer; we will contact you if we need more information.
